Why I'm Writing About Jeep and Parts.
The purpose of this assignment is to write about something we can familiarize with, that has become auto part of our culture. The ways in which such an object has become part of our culture can be through it becoming a generic term, an adjective or if everybody knows it. The term Jeep came to mean any type of vehicle that is a SUV in nature, not just the vehicle made by the DaimlerChrysler corporation, it is in fact the fore father of the modern SUV as well as being the most award winning brand of 4x4 made. Jeep sells its image as well as its product, in its own add it states, "Wrangler (one of Jeep's three major production vehicles) says a lot about you...Your passion for discovery. Your quest for fun." Jeep sells a rugged, outdoorsy toughness that has its own place in the American culture
